I’m Vidoula Uckiah, an independent multidisciplinary consultant, advisor, facilitator and mediator.
I work with leaders when organisational challenges are complex, sensitive or difficult to resolve — where the presenting issue may need to be understood in the context of the wider organisation and the factors influencing it.
I bring an independent, multidisciplinary perspective to help make sense of what is happening, explore what is driving it and work with you to shape a practical way forward.
Understand the current state, how organisational elements interact and the factors influencing performance to identify areas for improvement.
Align organisational structures, operating models and workforce capability with current and future needs to sustainably deliver strategic and service priorities.
Translate strategic priorities into practical roadmaps, coordinated actions and achievable implementation plans to deliver sustainable outcomes.
Navigate conflict and difficult issues, build mutual understanding and develop practical ways forward that support effective working relationships.
Bring people together to explore complex issues, build capability and shape solutions through meaningful participation, alignment and shared ownership.
Organisations are interconnected and continually evolving.
Organisations operate within changing environments. As external demands, priorities and conditions shift, the balance required across purpose, people, governance, strategy, relationships and resources shifts with them.
When these elements are appropriately aligned, organisations are better able to fulfil their purpose. As conditions change, that alignment may need to shift. Organisational tensions can be an indication that the existing balance no longer meets the needs of the organisation or its environment.
I bring a multidisciplinary perspective to that understanding, considering both risk and value across four interconnected dimensions:
You don’t need to know exactly what type of support you need. We can start with what is happening, what you are seeking to achieve and what may be getting in the way.
From there, we can explore what support might be useful and whether I am the right person to help.
I acknowledge the Traditional Custodians of our State and its waters and wish to pay my respects to Elders past and present. I extend this to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
